This cozy cottage is just a short walk to Nokomis public beach, Casey Key, public boat ramp, intracoastal waterway, 2 restaurants and more! Walk just across the bridge to Nokomis public beach pavilion with free beach access, just across the street is a marina where you can rent a boat or jet ski for the day, or even spend some time at two of the local favorite watering holes with great food and entertainment. A general store, ice cream shop, surf shop and sports rental store are all within walking distance. There is space to park a trailer and the boat ramp is just around the corner, so bring your boat!
It's easy to relax in this comfortable home after a day of sun & fun. The master bedroom is spacious and features a King size bed. The guest bedroom is admittedly small and is without a closet, but it does have two twin beds and a lot of beachy charm. The front sun room has a futon, eating table and small desk. The charming fully equipped kitchen is complete with a range, coffee maker and microwave. The back yard is fenced and offers a small deck and seating for 2 with an umbrella. There is also a private sunning area in the front of the home.
Amenities include wi-fi internet, 2 smart TV's (bring your own TV subscription), beach chairs, bath & beach towels, and a full size washer & dryer. Sorry, the fireplace shown in the pictures is not operational and may not be used.
Don’t forget to visit the famous drum circle on Nokomis Beach every Wednesday & Saturday night. If you don’t feel like walking over, you can always enjoy the music from your own back yard.
Nokomis is a “less touristy” area nestled between Sarasota & Venice, which is easily accessed by either Sarasota, Tampa or Ft Myers airports. Historic Downtown Venice is a short drive South, where you can enjoy more restaurants, shopping, golfing and another beautiful beach. A short drive North is Sarasota and Siesta Key, where you will find plenty of cultural activities such as theater, art galleries, more shopping and more beaches.
